Mouse Clicks on Some Flash Content Do Not Work Correctly

When using WebXtra 2 and 3, mouse clicks on some Flash content only trigger the right response once. Functionality is lost until you click on a different window and back on the browser, restoring the correct mouse focus. This issue also affects every other browser hosting technology available for Director, including Macromedia's own ActiveX Xtra, and is described in more detail at other Director sites like updatestage. The bug is a side effect of a change in the behavior of the Flash ActiveX player and getURL calls, introduced in Flash 6 and 7. Flash 4 and 5 players do not trigger this problem.

This issue is addressed in version 4 of WebXtra, which contains special code to detect the affected versions of the Flash Player and act around this bug.
