vList Xtra
 UPDATE HISTORY

vList Xtra was originally developed by Daniel Devolder, and previous versions up to 1.8.5 were distributed by updateStage, Inc. Version 1.8.6 was the first release of vList Xtra after the source code and copyrights were acquired by Tabuleiro, in January of 2007.

 HISTORY
VERSION 2.0.0b 03/26/08

FIXED: A problem was found in the Universal Binary build of vList, and fixed in this new download package. vList UB should now show the correct version number (2.0.0 instead of 2.0) in the xtralist, and b64_decode should work with files compressed with previous versions. Windows, Carbon and Classic versions are not changed.

VERSION 2.0 .0 03/25/08

NEW: Compatible with Director 11 and Unicode (UTF8) strings

NEW: When used with Director 11, support for Windows Vista and MacOSX Tiger and Leopard on Intel and PPC (UB)

NEW: Automatic translation of text to/from UTF8/MacRoman/Latin when strings are moved between different versions of Director (MX to D11 and vice-versa)

IMPROVED: vList_Register function now requires a smaller key list, registration name is no longer used

CHANGED: Full and Basic versions merged. A single vList license (reduced in price) now allows usage of all functionality

CHANGED: Reading/saving to files and other functions that were previously free now require a registration code

VERSION 1.8.6 01/31/07

NEW: First Tabuleiro release.

CHANGED: Copyright and registration notices.

CHANGED: Icon and castmember thumbnail.
CHANGED: Demo version restrictions removed, Xtra is now distributed in fully-functional evaluation mode with a registration warning.

REMOVED: Separate 64-bit encryption key version of the Xtra is no longer needed (see below.)

ADDED: vList_encryptionStrength() method. Allows restriction of the cryptographic capabilities of vList to 64-bit keys. Can be used by developers who live in countries where export of encryption code is restricted, to comply with local export laws.
CHANGED: Price for the Full and Basic versions are now U$ 249.95-U$129.95 (down from U$ 299.00-U$149.00 previously)
